So as many of you know, I study sociology. One of my favorite Career-related persona in this area is Karl Marx: The one and only who created, with Friedrich Engels, the base of communism and of course, as the time goes by after him, sociology.
I like him not just because he wrote how, when and what about communism (establishing the fundamental ideas of one of the most important political system in the XX´ century), but because, with all the thing he wrote about why communism should be the way people have to order their society, Marx give to the social science of sociology the idea of historical materialism and all the theory that come´s with it.
I must add to this blog a website I recently discovered called Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, the one website that talks about philosophy and with it: Karl Marx.

ResponderEliminarHello, Marx was the first author who made me interested in sociology, I thought that his theories were the only ones that could understand societies. I don't think the same anymore, but he is still one of my favorites.
